LONG DAYS

First barbecue this year/ prvá tohtorocna grilovacka

After a long winter Stockholm finally woke up to a wonderful spring. It happened so unexpectedly...Suddenly, the days became longer and brighter and the temperatures rose to as much as 25 degrees. The best thing about it was that this happened just during the deserved four-day weekend.

Look, I can lick my nose with my tongue// kukaj, viem sa jazykom dotknut nosa

On our way to a watermill we saw these three elks standing still on the glade and looking at us. First, when I wanted to take a photo of them they started running back to the forest//

 Old graves on Visingsö.
In the 12th and 13th century, Näs Castle on the southern end of Visingsö was the residence for the fragile Swedish monarchy. Four Swedish kings died there: Karl Sverkersson, Erik Knutsson, Johan Sverkersson, and Magnus Ladulås.
The Swedish Navy planted oak trees on the island in the 19th century to provide strategically important timber for future ship construction. The timber is now ready but no longer required for ship construction.
