NEW YORK

We stayed at the Lower East Side in an AirBnB apartment with a cool American guy // v NY sme bývali na Lower East Side cez AirBnB s pohodovým Američanm Robom
Our first dragon fruit ever from the Chinatown// náš prvý dragonfruit z Chinatown-u
 Little Italy
yes, so many bagels and he ate them all // toľko bagels zjedol
Greenwich village with the new World Trade Center in the background// Greenwich village s novým World Trade Centrom v pozadí

In Greenwich Village we met an elderly resident who was so passionate about his neighbourhood that he gave us a quick guided tour around. On the picture you can see one of a few preserved holland-like houses which was build by the Holland immigrants.
The High Line
The High Line - is a public park built on a historic freight rail line elevated above the streets on Manhattan’s West Side

views from the High Line// výhľady z High Line

Lego workshop at the end of the High Line and  after that I haven´t seen Mikael for a half an hour// Lego workshop na konci High Line a potom som Mikaela nevidela pol hodinu
everyday at least one bubble tea and each time I thought of you, Val :) // Každý den aspoň jeden bubble tea
the amazing thing about the NYC is that it has so many faces. E.g. here, we found piles of books on the street which somebody left for people to take them. As passionate collectores we simply had to check them and take some of them home as souvenirs//
Jeff Koons and his fontain devoted to the victims of the terrorist attack//
Jeff Koons a jeho fontána venovaná obetiam teroristického útoku
memorial for the victims of the terrorist attack..I had tears in my eyes standing there..the water falls down  into nowhere which is such a nice metaphor of life. We don´t know what comes after life as we don´t see where the water falls//

Sky is the limit - the new WTC// Nové WTC siahajúce až do neba
 Walls street
 Broadway
 Andy & Mikael at MoMA

I could imagine these public parks with chairs and tables also here in Stockholm//
tieto verejné parky so stolíkmi a stoličkami by som si aj tu prestaviť vedela
 Mikael´s favourite// Mikaelova obľúbená
 Guggenheim
 Central Park

Mikael said that my dress nicely contrasted with the nature so I posed for him.
 Morning Side
 Seinfeld & Mikael
 Brooklyn Bridge

I loved this campain about how to behave while using public transport. We definitely need it in Stockholm too :)
this vinyl store = my little nightmare :D // taká moja malá nočná platňová mora
 Coney Island

I would not like to take my (future) child here..Probably a dream for kids but nightmare for parents// malý raj pre deti a nočná mora pre rodičov?
